1969 - Lulu, United Kingdom
Lulu was one of four winners in the 1969 competition and continues to enjoy success to this day. Lulu’s voice was well known in music circles before her Eurovision victory, as she provided the shrieking introduction to 1964’s “Shout!” Lulu also cemented her notoriety as the girl with the golden voice for the title song to James Bond’s “The man with the golden gun”.
