A major fire at an apartment block in Stockholm in mid-November is believed to have been started by children.
The fire took hold of the attic at building in the Henriksdalsringen estate in Nacka, east of Stockholm, on November 14th. Some 117 residents were evacuated during the blaze, although nobody was hurt.
A boy has been questioned by police and has admitted that he set fire to the seven-floor building along with friends. Police say they will hold further interviews. None of the children is over the age of 15, and the case is to be handed to social services.
"They didn't understand how big it would get. They're full of regret," Mats Björk of Nacka Police told Metro.
